Satinated Glass

Satinated Glass is a frosted translucent glass and can be used to enhance multiple areas of the home. It is obtained by etching one side of Float glass or Extra clear glass with acid.

As a partially transparent product, it emits light while providing blackout and vision control for privacy from neighboring areas.

Satinato is intended primarily for interior use and offers the same advantages of flexibility in processing and installation, durability and maintenance as ordinary float glass.

It is available in: 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm thickness, but also in 5mm, 12mm, 15mm and 19mm thicknesses, upon customer’s request.

Sophisticated Appearance:

The evenly etched appearance and silky finish allow designers to create elegant and bright interiors, which coordinate perfectly with other materials such as matte or polished metals, etc. It can be used to create stunning aesthetic effects.

High light transmission:

Satinated glass provides privacy by hiding unwanted attention and distractions, without compromising lighting levels. It has similar light transmittance to ordinary float glass.

Thanks to the satin-smooth surface, dirt or fingerprints, for example, do not remain on Satinat, as is the case with sandblasted glasses.
