About

Extra clear is a very transparent extra clear glass, which has very little residual color. It has a unique appearance and specific optical properties.

Extra clear is obtained using the same production process as float glass. The low iron content gives it optimal clarity.

Extra clear has the following advantages over ordinary float glass:

Excellent transparency:

its light transmission is higher than conventional glass, especially when using extra thick substrate or assemblies

High neutrality: optimized display of colors and contrast. The colors of the objects remain vivid and natural. This quality is very important in applications such as showcases in museums, jewelry stores, etc.

Virtually colorless:

when used in dense configurations, the use of extra clear glass results in a practically colorless product. The green admixture, characteristic of ordinary fleet noticeable in larger thicknesses, is significantly reduced.

Illumination and depth:

without the green reflection along the edge of the glass, the Extra clear product is particularly bright. This quality is particularly evident when white lacquer or enamel is used.

Extra clear is available in a range of thicknesses, from 3 mm to 19 mm. Extra clear can be combined with many products including a variety of safety glass to provide protection against injury in the event of breakage.
